Simon Dowdy – Minister
Simon was ordained in the Church of England in 1996 and served as a curate on the staff of Christ Church Beckenham until 2000. From then until 2005 he was associate vicar at St.Helen’s Bishopsgate in the City with responsibility for lunch time services and midweek bible study evenings. He has been leading Grace Church Dulwich since it started in 2005. He has also been guild vicar of St.Botolph’s Aldersgate (www.thealdersgatetalks.org) in the City since 2001 where he spends part of his time midweek.
Simon is married with a young family which precludes much free time, but loves exploring the celtic fringes of the British Isles when possible.
Mark Fossey – Assistant Minister
Mark joined Grace Church Dulwich in 2010 having finished studying at Oak Hill Theological College. Prior to that he worked on the staff at Christchurch Mayfair, serving as an elder and mostly working with university students. Before that he worked with IT systems. He is married to Lucy and has a new baby Sam, who was born in March. They both enjoy relaxing to a good DVD box-set or a romantic dinner at Nandos.
Raymond Brown – Assistant Minister
Raymond trained and worked as a secondary school science teacher in Tower Hamlets and Haringey. He later studied at the London Theological Seminary in North London before becoming the assistant minister at ELT Baptist church. He then spent nine years living and working in Durban, South Africa on a church planting project that including student ministry and teaching on a training course. He is married to Rebekah and they have four children: Naomi, Nathanael, Natalia and Noah. In his spare time he likes reading, watching DVDs, playing squash and hopefully working up the courage and stamina to cycle around London again.
Helen Sheridan – Women’s and Children’s Minister
Helen joined Grace Church Dulwich in 2010. She’s the seventh of nine children to Irish parents, and grew up in Liverpool. Whilst studying as a mature student she became a Christian at the age of 27. She’s previously been on the staff at Cornerstone Church Kingston, predominantly in student ministry. When not in ministry Helen worked as a Maths teacher, and loves the relational nature of both jobs. Two of her favourite pastimes are dinner with a crowd of friends or a quiet evening in watching European films with depressing endings!

Matthew Wagstaff – Matthew has been at Grace Church since its inception in 2005 where he is currently involved in leading a mid-week Growth Group. He is married to Emma and has two daughters, Skye and Susanna. He is a barrister by profession and works for the Crown Prosecution Service. In his spare time, he enjoys reading, walking and the occasional quiet evening in.
